November 21st 2008
David Wilson East Midlands has commissioned an extensive, independent survey of Earl Shilton and Barwell asking local people what they really think of their villages.
As a goodwill gesture, anyone who fills out the questionnaire will be entered into a prize draw where they could win a £500 Christmas shopping spree at their local Co-op.
Philip Lacey, Sales Director at David Wilson says "We understand this is the largest survey of its kind in the area and are looking forward to hearing what the residents of these two villages really think of the place they call home.
"As a housebuilder, we believe Earl Shilton and Barwell have a lot to offer prospective home buyers, there's a plethora of local amenities on offer including shops, restaurants and sports facilities plus with the new bypass opening in January, this will add to the already fantastic transport links to the rest of the East Midlands.
"We currently have four developments on offer in the area and we want prove that it's actually a great place to live- and who better for this message to come from that the current residents?
"So if you're an Earl Shilton or Barwell resident and want to have your say on the area, we want to hear from you."
The results of the survey are expected to be announced mid December.
